Square One Gallery is pleased to present the first gallery presentation by St. Louis artist Bill DeWitt III, featuring his "Cathedrals" & "Skulls" series of original paintings.
24“X20” Acrylic on canvas with diamond dust and resin. Experimental process whereby I covered the painting in diamond dust then added a clear coat of resin to see if the diamond dust would still sparkle underneath. Turns out it sparkles by about half the amount of an uncovered version, but enough to create a unique combination of reflective and pointillistic shimmer.
